Moreover, there has been a limited emphasis on sustainable practices and ethical sourcing within the industry.

Approach

In a market ripe for transformation, Dweep stands out not only for its swimwear but also for its dedication to broader social and environmental issues. By addressing these gaps, Dweep is set to redefine swimwear in India, making it more inclusive, sustainable, and stylish. This commitment extends beyond just product offerings to a thoughtfully crafted visual identity that embodies Dweep's mission and values. The typography features a modern and approachable typeface, with a distinctive "W" resembling a wave tossing a starfish ashore, instantly conveying an island frame of mind. This visual element highlights Dweep's beachwear essence and symbolizes the brand's connection to nature and the ocean. The brandmark, inspired by nostalgic travel postcards, serves as a versatile stamp across various media, enhancing the brand's storytelling and evoking a sense of wanderlust and adventure.

Additionally, the brand story and tagline “Sustainable Island Wear” were developed to set Dweep apart from regular swimwear brands. This tagline not only emphasizes the brand’s commitment to sustainability but also highlights the unique island-inspired design philosophy. By integrating sustainable practices with a modern, minimal aesthetic, Dweep aims to inspire a deeper connection with nature while promoting eco-conscious choices in fashion.

Approach

Dweep is young and fun but yet thoughtful and motivated to make a change. Inspied by this dual personality, we chose the brand colours to be neutral yet introducing an accent neon inspired by underwater colour reefs to add a punch to the visual identity. Patterns featuring simple waves, lines, and textures of sand, water, and light capture the essence of an island. These patterns are prominently used on products like pouches and in packaging. They create a visual identity that is both contemporary and closely tied to the brand's roots and aspirations.

IMPACT

In a country where conversations about body positivity and size inclusivity are often challenging, Dweep aims to be a catalyst for change. At it’s core Dweep wants to inspire conversations about inclusivity such as body positivity, beauty biases, and sustainability. To create a community and curate a space which enables these conversations. Dweep was born to make you feel confident, fearless and have some fun.
