In crafting the new packaging, we've captured the essence of DesBarres, weaving a visual identity that mirrors the richness and the unique origin of their artisanal chocolates. The result is a packaging redesign that's lively and delightful. Drawing inspiration from the world of stamps, viewing them not just as postage but as enchanting pieces of art that weave tales. We've used illustrations to tell a story and create curiosity about the origins of these cacao-producing landscapes. These illustrations act as collectables adding a layer of intrigue.

Supported by an array of colours from two-toned pastels for the single-origin colours and brighter hues for the flavoured bars, the nuanced palette strikes a balance between refinement and a sense of adventure, while the strict typographic layouts feel capable and thoughtfully restrained.

Working their way towards sustainability, DesBarres supports smallholder farms across the world, not just crafting chocolate but cultivating partnerships in their local community.
